We first met Johanna during E.J. and Beverly’s wedding a few months ago as she was one of the bridesmaids.  She and Gene are expecting their first baby come September and they wanted to take a few maternity portraits before baby Olivia arrived.  (Ironically, we’re naming our little girl Olivia too!)  Here are just a few from the session taken at our Benicia studio.

Even though you won’t be able to tell, the entire shoot was done around our Benicia studio on probably the hottest day during the last week in September.  I have to thank everyone for being a soldier for sticking it out, staying hydrated, and staying cool.  You guys are the best!  Priscilla, especially, for not passing out in the old school car that had to be at least 98°.  You looked good, gurrrrl!!

We’re not exaggerating when we say that there were sooooo many good frames of this shoot.  However, these are Amari’s favorites.  Stay tuned!  We’ll be posting some behind the scene shots soon!
